Ma City Zine is a BTS Travel Guide charity zine where stories and artwork will have settings in places around the world where ARMY live, have lived, or from where they connect culturally. The zine will be organized by 5 regions of the world: Africa & Middle East, Asia & Pacific, Europe & Central Asia, Latin America & Caribbean, US & Canada. Proceeds will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.The main concept of this zine is about traveling the world and experiencing new cultures. Similar to how the members are proud of where they were born, this project will show the pride ARMY has for their own cities worldwide.

Contributors will be offered a free copy of the zine. If funds allow, contributors will be allotted a free full bundle each.Who can apply as a contributor?

Yes! Just be aware that you will only be accepted into one role, however.What are contributors expected to create?
Page artists will be expected to create at least 1 page of fully rendered art themed to their
specified region.Writers will be expected to create 1 short story with their region represented in writing.Merch artists will be expected to create at least 2 pieces of merch.Does content have to be an actual guide of my home town/city?
You are welcome to show your city as if one of the members views it while visiting, or you may submit a story or image that uses your city as a backdrop. Get creative in showing what makes your city unique.Is traditional art allowed?
Of course! Traditional pieces must be scanned in high quality. We recommend doing so at 600 dpi or higher.Are collaborations between contributors allowed?
Yes! We’d love to have any and all collaborations between contributors. Note that collaborations can only be decided after contributors are accepted into the zine.Are AUs allowed?
Yes, as long as you are focused on the depiction of your specified region.Are ships allowed?
All ships are welcome. This zine will highlight all members, either in romantic or platonic relationships at the contributor's discretion. Please keep in mind, all content will still be SFW regardless.May I submit an older piece for the zine?

Interested in joining the zine? Read our information document below for more details on applying!Ma City is looking for 30 - 40 contributors to help chart our course, inclusive of guests. This includes 15-20 page artists, 10-15 writers, and 3-5 merch artists.As we seek to represent ARMY around the world equally, we will consider applicants’ representative region(s) when making final decisions. Applicants may select more than one region to represent in case they have a history in or cultural connection to multiple regions. Contributors will be expected to represent only one region, however.Contributor applications will be open from July 15 - August 20. Before you fill out your application, please be sure to read over our guidelines and requirements below.
